As someone who only ever wears comfortable shoes, I have high hopes for these Lizzy shoes from Duo. Known for their width-fitting boots for those of us with thin or podgy calves, Duo now have a vast range of lovely summery shoes in normal and wide fittings and some gorgeous colours. Now do I want the tangerine, fuchsia or leaf?

Boygirlparty To-Do List

As an inveterate list-maker, I can’t see me doing without this owl to-do list pad by Susie Ghahremani from boygirlparty for much longer. I know that I can use one of my many existing note pads but there’s something very pleasing about having a circle or square you can tick once a task is complete. And the owl is very cute.

Re-imagined Book Covers

I’m a bit of a book cover Nazi and only read good books with ugly covers under duress. Which is why I’m loving these re-imagined Harry Potter covers. I have six of the seven with the children’s covers but the cartoon on the last one was so hideous that I now have a mismatching adult version. These Lemony Snicket covers are also good:

Drunk Tag

Filed under: Eating and Drinking — Alison @ 4:42 pm

I think these drunk tags should be put on general sale. Many is the time I’ve been so clattered that I can’t remember my own name, let alone give a taxi driver my address. Thankfully Dr Jim is usually on hand to avoid me sleeping in a gutter (did I tell you about the police, the absinthe and the wheelchair? No? Another time, maybe) but I can see a use for these in pubs and clubs up and down this bingeing nation.

Kate O’Connor

As a Facebook addict, I can’t resist this wonderful embroidered hankie from Kate O’Connor. A small part of me dies every time a friend request is ignored (you know who you are).

Adidas ad

Loving this Adidas ad with the ever-so-hot David Beckham, Katy Perry, Russell Simmons, Estelle, Missy Elliot, the Ting Tings and lots of other US stars I don’t recognise. I’ve even bought the music – a Pilooski remix of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ Beggin’

I’d be so tempted to buy these David Shrigley salt and pepper pots if they were a little bit cheaper. Can you imagine the look on your mum’s face if she came to dinner? Priceless!
